  • Introduce carrots and fruit pieces. Instead of potato chips, try baked wheat pretzels and popcorn. Crackers, hummus and vegetable sticks make a great snack.

Tip Two: Limit the fizz.

  • Save the fizzy drinks for special occasions. Focus on drinking six – eight glasses of water a day, and perhaps a flavoured mineral water.

Tip Three: Dessert alternatives.

  • Try yoghurt as an after dinner treat or for a delicious ice cream alternative try frozen fruit blended together with a little bit of yogurt.
