Banana Porridge

Bananas contain potassium, which works with sodium to maintain the balance of water and acidity in the blood. Vitamin C, found in bananas, is a potent antioxidant, which protects our cells from the damaging effects of free radicals and plays a key role in building a strong immune system.

TIP: Store bananas at room temperture, this allows them to continue to ripen. If stored in the refrigerator, the skin will turn black, but the flesh will not be affected.
