‘My Steps’ is designed to provide you with simple steps to help achieve a happy, healthy life. Before you start, take time to write down your goals then work through the sections step-by-step. If you have difficulty getting into ‘My Steps’ or if you miss a day, just start the day a fresh tomorrow, above all - don’t give up!
Food & Nutrition
Eating a variety of nutritious foods means having different foods in appropriate amounts to supply all the nutrients you need. This programme helps you choose a range of foods within a food group to expand your diet. It teaches you to eat more fruit, vegetables, and wholegrains. Also gives ways to cut down on sugar, salt and fat.
Having breakfast is one of the best decisions you can make. Starting the day right helps to renew your energy, put you in a good mood for the day and improve your overall diet by increasing nutritional intake for the day.
